Terms and Conditions

Hoteliermart reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time without notice. Changes will be effective as soon as they are published on the Hoteliermart website.

Definitions

Hoteliermart.com”, “us”, “we”, “our” refers to Global Hotelier Pte. Ltd. (trading as “Hoteliermart”, a private limited company incorporated under the laws of Singapore, and having its registered office at 28C Stanley street, Singapore (068737).

Customer” or “Client” refers to the end-user of Hoteliermart products and services.

"Platform" means the website on which the Product or Services is made available owned, controlled, managed, maintained, and/or hosted by Hoteliermart.com.

Product” or “Travel Inventory” or “Services” refers to hotel accommodations and other travel related products and services.

"Provider" means the professional provider of accommodations (e.g. hotel, motel, apartment, vacation home etc.), attractions (e.g. (theme) parks, museums, sightseeing tours), transportation provider (e.g. car rentals, cruises, rail, airport rides, bus tours, transfers), tour operators, travel insurances, and any other travel or related product or service as from time to time available for Product or Service reservation on the Platform (whether B2B or B2C).

Introduction of Our Service

Hoteliermart.com (and its affiliate or distribution partners) provide an online platform through which Providers can advertise, market, sell, promote and/or offer their product or services for order, reservation, purchase.

Reservation

All bookings/reservations must be made online. When a Customer of the Hoteliermart has completed the booking online, it is the Customer responsibility to check and make sure all the reservation details (such as hotel address, hotel info, city and country details) on the confirmation are correct. Once the reservations/requests are confirmed, Hoteliermart’s cancellation, amendment, no-show policy is stated in the cancellation policy before booking or at the booking confirmation. Payment and refund/discount policies will be applicable to the Customers who signed Agreement with Hoteliermart.

No amendments of any kinds (date changes, name changes, flight number change, vehicle type change) are accepted. No changes are permitted on Transfers. It is mandatory to enter valid and accurate flight details at the time of booking since, it is not possible to amend.

Names of Persons Travelling

It is important that the person making the booking must enter the correct names of all persons travelling. If TBA or another abbreviation has been entered as the guest's name, the hotel may reject the booking. The names of all persons travelling must be entered and the first name should be followed by the Family name.

E-mail Accounts

It is the responsibility of all Hoteliermart Customer to ensure they have entered a correct email address. If Our e-mail has been sent to Your Junk or Bulk mail folder, You can prevent this from happening again by opening Our e-mail and clicking on the 'not spam' or 'this is not spam' button.

Room Types

It is the responsibility of the Hoteliermart Customer to book the suitable room type,according to the number of adults/children travelling. If more persons turn up at the hotel than the room can accommodate, the hotel will have rights to cancel the booking. No refunds will be made in this case by the hotel or hoteliermart

While Hoteliermart will try to ensure your preferred room type is available, Hoteliermart cannot guarantee the actual bedding makeup of the room. These requests are sent to hotels and are subject to availability.

Hoteliermart will try to ensure that the hotel provides the room type(s) booked however, there may be occasions when instead of a double-bedded room a twin may be allocated or a double-bedded room instead of a twin. While all room type preferences are forwarded to the hotel, room allocation is done by the hotel and subject to availability at the time of check in.

Special Requests

Any preferable room types (smoking/non smoking/Bedding configurations) cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability at the time of check in. Hotel will however guarantee accommodation for the number of adults the room was booked for.

Late Check-in

In case of late check inn, please contact the hotel and inform them of Customer’s arrival time. Some hotels have limited reception services after 21:00 hours. Failing to inform the hotel of a late arrival can result in the room(s) being released.

Early Checkout

Early checkout related refund demands should be accompanied with early checkout policy issues by the hotel. However, the early checkout policy itself does not guarantee any refund, and the refund may be claimed only, if and when, our partner/hotel does not invoice Hoteliermart.

Payments and Refund Policy

Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent to the client via email within 72 hours of receipt of payment.

The Customer shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of the use of the services.

Any increase in the price charged by Provider on account of change in rate of taxes or imposition of new taxes by Government shall have to be borne by customer.

In the rare possibilities of the reservation not getting confirmed for any reason whatsoever, we will process the refund and intimate you of the same. Hoteliermart is not under any obligation to make another booking in lieu of or to compensate/ replace the unconfirmed one. All subsequent further bookings will be treated as new transactions with no reference to the earlier unconfirmed reservation.

The Customer shall request Hoteliermart for any refunds against the unutilized or 'no show' hotel booking for any reasons within 15 days from the date of check in for the hotel booking. Any applicable refunds would accordingly be processed as per the defined cancellation policies of the hotels and Hoteliermart. No refund would be payable for any requests made after the expiry of 15 days as above and all unclaimed amounts for such unutilized or no-show hotel booking shall be deemed to have been forfeited.

Refunds will be made onto the original mode of payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days depends on the issuing bank of the credit card.

Rates might change to reflect exchange rate fluctuations up until the booking is fully paid. Once the booking is fully paid, there will be no more changes.

Currency exchange rates generally change on daily basis depending on the fluctuations in the market. Hoteliermart reserves the right to update room rates displayed on the website depending on any market fluctuations.

Cash Back

As an enrolled Cashback member you may earn 'cashback' or a loyaltycash reward from Hoteliermart from making an transactions from a number of Providers as illustrated on the website. Note that all transactions you make are not with us, but with the individual retailer.

The Client receives 4% of Cashback of the total Reservation amount booked.

When we have traced a paying, applicable transaction to your account, we will credit your account with a 'pending payout'. Once the Provider confirms the transaction, the payout will be marked as 'confirmed' – this can take 30 days or more from the date of the purchase. If the services are returned or the sale reversed or amended by any means then the cashback payout will not be made.

Fees Payment

Hoteliermart reserves the right to charge listing fees for certain listings, as well as transaction fees based on certain completed transactions using the services. Hoteliermart. further reserves the right to alter any and all fees from time to time, without notice.

In case, there is a short charging by Hoteliemart for listing, services or transaction fee or any other fee or service because of any technical or other reason, it reserves the right to deduct/charge/claim the balance subsequent to the transaction at its own discretion.

Important

Hoteliermart reserves the right to correct any pricing or displayed errors and/or omissions. This includes errors and/or omissions, which have been entered by a hotelier or local agent. In the event of a price error and/or omission, We will offer You the choice of either keeping the booking at the correct rates, cancelling the booking or subject to availability We will offer You a suitable alternate hotel.

Additional & Incidental Charges

Hotels may impose additional or incidental charges to the Customers such as; air conditioning, safe, mini fridge, rental television, remote control, etc. upon which Hoteliermart has no control over or accepts any responsibility. Any such charges must be paid directly to the hotel.

Likewise, Hoteliermart has no control over any fees that a hotel may pass on for luggage storage, sauna, spa, swimming pool use, car parking fees, etc.

During the festive season such as; Christmas and the New Year, some hotels impose a compulsory Gala and guests must pay any supplement for the Gala dinner. We are not always informed about Gala dinner supplements and Hoteliermart cannot be held responsible for any such Gala supplements passed on by the hotel.

Cancellations & Amendments

We prefer that all cancellations and amendments are made on the Hoteliermart website. Alternatively you can contact the Hoteliermart Reservation Team via e-mail or fax before the cancellation deadline for that specific booking/hotel. We do not accept cancellations or amendments over the telephone.

Hoteliermart will not be bound by or accept responsibility for any changes and cancellations made directly with the hotel.

All request for cancellations that are not made in proper time frame are subject to cancellation fee determined by Hoteliermart.

It is important to note that only one amendment per booking will be accepted. If You require further amendments, please cancel and re-book with new details. When You re-book, new rates may be applicabl

During special event periods, certain dates and early bird type bookings, hotels may pass on a different cancellation policies of which You will be informed as soon as Hoteliermart is notified.

In certain cases, name changes are not permitted and the bookings may need to be cancelled and re-booked. In this case new rates may apply.

Any booking which offers free nights or early booking savings are liable to certain restrictions, which we will inform You about as soon as Hoteliermart is notified.

No-shows

A no-show by the end consumer without prior warning shall be considered a cancellation.

Hoteliermart shall inform the Client of charges payable which may vary up to 100% of the amount of the booking.

Duplicate Bookings

During Special Event Periods, Providers and Hotels may pass on a different cancellation policies of which Client will be informed as soon as Hoteliermart is notified. Also, Provider(s) may not honor Hoteliermart’s usual reduced rates, which means that the price Customer pays may be higher than the hotel’s published rate. This can happen at any time when availability is scarce. During special event periods, certain dates and early bird type bookings, hotels and providers may pass on a different cancellation policies of which You will be informed as soon as Hoteliermart is notified.

Special Events Period

During Special Event Periods, Providers and Hotels may pass on a different cancellation policies of which Client will be informed as soon as Hoteliermart is notified. Also, Provider(s) may not honor Hoteliermart’s usual reduced rates, which means that the price Customer pays may be higher than the hotel’s published rate. This can happen at any time when availability is scarce. During special event periods, certain dates and early bird type bookings, hotels and providers may pass on a different cancellation policies of which You will be informed as soon as Hoteliermart is notified.

Proof of Id

When a booking has been made by a 3rd party Hoteliermart reserves the right to request proof of ID from the credit cardholder as well as a signed authorisation form to protect Your Hoteliermart account.

This security measure is not to cause any inconvenience but, intended to protect the credit card holder against any credit card misuse.

Hotel Information and Facilities

While Hoteliermart strives to present hotel information on its website as accurately as possible, We are not responsible for the accuracy of this information or for any facilities that may or may not be available at the hotel during Your Client's stay or not suited to Your client's individual tastes and preferences for these information are provided by hoteliers or third-parties.

Redecoration, renovations and maintenance are necessary to the upkeep of the hotel and may take place without prior warning however, the hotelier will endeavour to keep inconvenience to a minimum. The effects of normal wear and tear can be expected in a hotel and these are beyond Our control. Hoteliermart cannot accept responsibility for any disturbance or inconvenience to Your client for reasons beyond the hotelier’s control or for accidents or losses in which may have caused by hotel management or staff.

Hotel and guest room photographs are provided to give a general overview of the hotel. Guest room photographs may be of a different category than the one You book and not identical to the room Your Client(s) is/are allocated at the hotel.

All of the hotels on the Hoteliermart.com website require one of the guests to be at least 18 years old. In some States of the United States there are higher age limits. If You have booked a hotel in the Unites States and the travellers are under 25 years of age please contact the hotel directly for clarification.

Limitation of Liabilities

Hoteliermart shall not be liable to You for;-any and all indirect or consequential losses which may be incurred by You. This shall include but not limited to; (i) any loss of profit (whether incurred directly or indirectly); (ii) any loss of goodwill or business reputation; (iii) any loss of opportunity; (iv) any act(s) and/or omission(s) of the Client(s) affected or any Member(s) of their party; (v) any act(s) and/or omission(s) of a third party not connected with the Services and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable; (vi) any circumstances beyond Hoteliermart’s control such includes, but are not limited to, acts of nature, labour disputes or any other irregularity beyond Hoteliermart’s control. Hoteliermart disclaims responsibility for any loss, damage, accidents, sickness or changes in schedules resulting from causes beyond its control.

Nondisclosure of Confidential Information.

Definition of Confidential Information. “Confidential Information” means any information, technical data or know-how (whether disclosed before or after the date of this Agreement), which is not open to any person or entity by the Hoteliermart, including, but not limited to, information relating to business and product or service plans, financial projections, customer lists, business forecasts, sales and merchandising, human resources, patents, patent applications, computer object or source code, research, inventions, processes, designs, drawings, engineering, marketing or finance to be confidential or proprietary or which information would, under the circumstances, appear to a reasonable person to be confidential or proprietary.

Total or partial disclosure of any of the Confidential Information to which the Client may have access by means of contracting and performance of its services to third party individuals or companies shall be expressly prohibited.

The Client guarantees not to use any Confidential Information disclosed to its employees, consumers, suppliers and/or subcontractors. The Client agrees to take all reasonable measures to protect the secrecy of and avoid disclosure or use of Confidential Information in order to prevent it from falling into the public domain or the possession of persons other than agents of the Client or persons to whom the Client consents to such disclosure.

Should the Client or any of its employees, agents, suppliers or representatives conceive any invention, innovation, discovery, computer program, process, technique or the like, as a result of observing or having access to the Confidential Information, the Client agrees to assign said invention, innovation, discovery, computer program, technique or the like, to Hoteliermart.

Controlling Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any action related thereto will be governed by the laws of Singapore.

All claims, legal proceedings or litigation arising in connection with the Product, Travel Inventory, Services will be brought to courts located in Singapore, and you consent to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waive any objection as to inconvenient forum. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore to resolve any legal matter arising from the Terms.
